This joke hits the mark with families whose kids tend to use consoles or PCs for gaming an awful lot. It's pretty obvious to say that it's hard as a parent to stop the kids from playing to go off to do something constructive. So the scene plays on this but adds the second meaning of Game Over. It refers to the rather disastrous situation occurring in the background. We love the exaggeration and confusion involved, plus the red robot doing the destruction.
